Healing Light Spiritualist Church

Ahhh, winter is upon us. For many, this is a difficult time of year. The days are short and darkness holds sway over the light. On December 21st we will experience the Winter Solstice. The word "Solstice" derives from Latin, meaning, "Sun stands still", and during the winter solstice, the earth's axis is tilted at its furthest point from the sun. This means that for us, in the northern hemisphere, the sun is at its lowest point in the sky. The winter solstice is the shortest day of the year and the longest night. December 21st may be the shortest day of the year, but let us remember also, it marks a point in the calendar when the sun begins to grow, gradually, in strength and intensity. Many cultures, religions, and spiritual traditions have honored the winter solstice. Throughout history, this time of greatest darkness has encouraged humanity to gather amongst loved ones and celebrate rebirth and return to the light. Our celebration of Christmas comes from these ancient traditions. Let us keep our focus on the growing light, think positively, and spend as much time with family and friends as we can. Use the days of winter to rest and plan for the spring, which by the way, isn't that far away. The Spring equinox occurs on March 20th, 2023. Time passes so quickly these days, at least for me it does, that March will be here in the blink of an eye! May your holidays be blessed with love, peace, and joy, Rev. Join us after church for a bite to eat and some good conversation with like-minded folks. Everyone welcome! We are happy to announce that the heating problem in the sanctuary is finally fixed! It was a long time coming but the issue has indeed been resolved. Come and enjoy a warm and cozy Sunday service with like-minded friends! Our November 12th Craft/Vendors/Mediums/Healers fair was a huge success! It seems everyone was able to find something special for themselves and the folks on their gift list. Our next fair will be on July 1, 2023. Mark your calendars now because it will be here before you know it! Our Thanksgiving day dinner was also a huge success! 19 people gathered together to enjoy a wonderful feast and fellowship. Everyone left with full bellies and warm hearts. It's the way life should be and perhaps one day, every single person the world over will experience this every day of their lives. Ahhh, now there is something to pray for! Church membership yearly dues are due in January. If you joined the church after September of this year, 2022, you do not need to pay dues again until January 2024. Notices will be going out in the mail this month. Please fill out the membership form and include it with your dues payment. This is how we keep our member records up to date. Thank you! Rev. Michele has stepped down from her duties with the church to take some much-needed rest and relaxation. Rev. Michele, we send you tons of love energy! Shellie Babcock-Wells will step in as secretary for the remainder of Rev. Michele's term. Thank you, Shellie! We will have a Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 6:00 pm. Refreshments will be served after the service. There will be no church service on Christmas day. There will be a church service on Sunday, January 1st, however, there is no potluck and no mediumship group that day. The Pastoral Council will meet on the 2nd Sunday of every month right after church in the church office. The Healing Light Spiritual Investigative Team will be meeting on Saturday, December 17th from 5:00 to 6:00 pm in Guilford, Maine with the investigation happening from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. Before you can be a healer during our church service there is a level of understanding and knowledge you must have. Also, our church has certain levels of protocol that must be met. You will learn about the body's energy field and the chakras and you will learn how to feel the energy and how to be a channel for it. You will also learn what it means to be a healer. On October 2nd our sanctuary was filled with animals, living and in spirit! Why? Because we had our very first Blessing Of The Animals. It was such a joy to see so many people attend with their fur babies. Someone once asked me if Spiritualists believed animals have souls. For me, it seemed a no-brainer kind of question. And after looking at them as if they had two heads I responded, "Of course, animals have souls! How could you ever doubt it?" It seems to me that I have always known animals have souls. I never had to think about it, it was just known. Through the years when one of my beloved animal companions would pass into spirit I could still feel them around me and as I developed my mediumship I could see them. And most certainly I grieved each and every one of them as I would a human family member or a human friend when they passed. If you’ve ever shared your life and love with an animal you know how deep the grief is felt when they leave us. I found this passage from the Bible which speaks of the level of feeling God has for animals; Psalm 36:5-7 "Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O LORD. How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings". Principle number 5 in our updated Declaration of Principles reads, "We affirm that communication with other Dimensions, Spirit, Angels, all God's Creatures, and the Natural World, are demonstrated through the phenomena of Mediumship." Animals bring a lightness to life, and boy oh boy, does the human experience ever need that lightness. Possibly now more than ever. In your Christmas giving this year please consider donating pet food or the cost of a visit to the vet for a family in your community with pets who may be experiencing financial hardship. Also, our church accepts gifts of pet food for our pet pantry. And if you are in need of pet food please do not hesitate to stop by and pick something up to tide you over. Autumn is the time of harvest and Halloween. A time for hot cider and gingerbread, family gatherings, and visits to the pumpkin patch to pick out that perfect pumpkin for carving. The days of autumn are warm and the nights are cool. It is a time when we begin getting ready for winter. For some, Autumn is a happy, festive time of year and yet others often feel a sense of melancholy or dread because along with saying goodbye to the hot days of summer they are also saying goodbye to the wonderfully long and bright days of summer. Principle number 7 in our Declaration of Principles states, we are personally responsible for our own happiness or unhappiness as we live in harmony or disharmony with nature's physical and spiritual laws. When we move with the rhythm of the seasons we are then living in harmony with nature's physical and spiritual laws thus creating our own happiness. Each season offers its own special vibration and magic. It is there for each of us to experience. I encourage everyone not to isolate themselves this fall and winter but rather seek out loved ones and/or like-minded folks to celebrate the seasons with. On Sunday, October 2nd during the church service there will be a Blessing of the animals. There will also be a table of remembrance for our beloved animal companions who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. The yearly members' meeting was held on Sunday, September 18th. At that meeting, Rev. Janet Decker was voted in as president for 2 more years. Rev. Sarah Lane was voted in as Treasurer for a 2-year term and Angel Downing was voted in for a one-year term as trustee. We thank them for their willingness to serve our church! During the meeting, members voted to adopt an updated version of our Declaration Of Principles. We started reciting these on Sunday, September 25th. What are Nature's Physical and Spiritual Laws Spiritualist Principle numbers 2, 3, and 7 talk about nature, both physical and spiritual, as an expression of Infinite Intelligence. They further state that, "having a correct understanding of such expression, and living in accordance therewith, constitute true religion", and that, "we make our own happiness or unhappiness as we obey or disobey nature's physical and spiritual laws." The question has arisen in our conversations at church as to what nature's laws are, exactly. I will attempt to clarify this for all who are interested. When we observe nature we notice that all things are held in balance and move in cycles. A healthy physical environment, one could also say a happy environment, is one where balance is perfect. Sunlight, water, nutrients, exercise, active time, quiet time, sleep, and hibernation (winter provides this in nature), all in perfect balance create a healthy, happy physical environment. The spiritual component of nature is that all of life is interdependent on everything else. Nature is a community of living things. Nothing in nature can exist by itself. Everything is dependent upon everything else to be healthy, happy, and survive. If we take in sunlight, water, nutrients, exercise, active time, quiet time, sleep, and even hibernation, winter provides this, all in proper balance, life flows and we experience good health and happiness. When we live in community with each other, all recognizing each other's special gifts, our special needs, our uniqueness, drawing on each other as if from a well of perfection, which it is, we experience happiness. We are not supposed to be alone, Infinite Intelligence did not design us to be so, and we do not have to do everything alone. Hence, principle # 7 gives us the perfect formula for experiencing happiness. “We affirm the moral responsibility of individuals, and that we make our own happiness or unhappiness as we obey or disobey Nature’s physical and spiritual laws.” Simply put, follow nature's lead. Get enough sunlight, water, nutrients, exercise, active time, quiet time, sleep, hibernation (withdrawal from the outside world, going inside), when needed, and social interaction with those you feel aligned with and you will create your own happiness. We have partnered with Angel Downing of Willow and Winds to provide spiritual and paranormal consultations. Angel will also be building a team to help educate and investigate, as well as heal supernatural situations Angel Downing is the owner of Willow and Winds and she is an experienced Certified Leading Paranormal Investigator, Spiritual Consultant, Ordained Minister, and Deacon. She is trained in mental health, and substance abuse, and trained as a Chaplain at our local hospital. She is a healer as well as an Intuitive Psychic Medium. Angel will be at the center on Thursdays, starting on Thursday, July 28th from 12 noon until 3 pm. She will provide free spiritual or paranormal consultations, healings, and or guidance. Greetings Everyone! A big thank you goes out to Rev. Matthew T. MacDonald for hosting our first Unlock Your Life event. The people gathered for a brief Gratitude Meditation and our first speaker, Polly from Kirtan Meditation Maine, stood and began Call and Response Kirtan Chanting. Within minutes two dozen people were singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, and chanting for PEACE. Nick Isgro, a real estate agent and a teacher of the Principles of Prosperity and Wealth was our second guest speaker. Nick got up from his seat and greeted everyone with a robust HELLO and told us the moment he walked through the front door of the church he felt the incredibly high energy present in the room. His friend, Matthew, had told him how wonderful The Center was but seeing and feeling was truly believing. He talked of Visioneering, or Manifesting, and he asked why was detail important when working toward making our Dreams into our Realty. One of the young boys present shouted out, “If we don’t include all the details we might not get exactly what we want!” Everyone agreed these two young boys, about four and five years old, knew exactly what they were talking about! Lee Witting, a radio announcer with over one million followers on IANDS NDE spoke of the interviews and research he has done on Near-Death Experiences over the past few decades and we look forward to hearing more from him in the future! Matthew was our last speaker and he told us how grateful he was for his friends coming together to do this fundraiser for the Healing Light Spiritualist Church. He led us through steps to get rid of anything that stood in our way of Manifesting the life we want, the life we deserve. We ended our day with meditation and prayer. After a few more words of wisdom and gratitude, Rev. Matthew closed our event the same way he had opened the event, with a few minutes of meditation and prayer. He encouraged us to honor ourselves daily and meditate, just for a few minutes while maintaining a sense of gratitude and devotion to the Source of Love, each and Every Day. Blessed Be! Happy May Day! Have you ever heard of the Goddess Ostara? She is the ancient Germanic goddess of the spring and her story was passed down by word of mouth through the centuries and goes something like this: Underneath the earth, the Goddess Ostara is sleeping and the lord of the woods is waiting. Ostara sleeps the winter long deep within the earth resting and waiting for her moment to arrive and while she sleeps, one group of creatures, above all the others, keep watch with big eyes, listening intently with their long rounded ears . The hares stands vigil. They are her guardians, her connection to the turning year - the coming of the spring season. Together they gaze at the moon and the sun. They monitor the cycling of the heavens. And when they see the sun begin to turn her face towards the earth once more they know it is time to begin their dance. A dance that heralds the end of winter, and awakens Ostara from her winter slumber. And as she awakens, so does the land where she walks. New life springs forth. The grays of winter gives way to vibrant green as she eases the passing of winter. One year, Ostara was very late to emerge. And as she began her procession she realized the land had been in winter’s grip for far too long. Snow and ice refused to melt and all life hung suffering in a never-ending winter. As the Goddess prepared herself for the task ahead she came upon a poor, fragile sparrow. At tiny bird who had misjudged the weather of the turbulent season. She had succumbed to cold and hunger. She lay on the ice, half dead. Ostara was drawn to her suffering and she reached down and lifted that poor bird from the ice. It lay limp in her hands. Its terrified eyes the only sign of life within. And so Ostara lifted the bird to her lips and she blew warmth and new life into it. She blew away the shadow of death and in an instant the little sparrow revived in her hands. And the sparrow broke into song. As it sang, a warm breeze began to stir. The Goddess smiled. The little bird is one with the Goddess Ostara, now shared some of her power….some of her immortality. And so the two of them quickly ushered in spring. The two became inseparable. Together they began to share responsibility for the spring as Ostara would revive the land, the little bird would sing and call upon the southern winds that would carry the great flocks home to roost. The Goddess and the sparrow continued to bring in the spring. Soon they found a new member of the hare clan, but he was unlike any hare they had seen before. All the other hares were nervous, kinda skinny...but not this great jackal. This jackal was strong and fearless…he cowered to no one. He would stand strong against the fox and would never run from the falcon. The Goddess was used to the other hares bowing before her when she came close, but not this jack. He stood tall, proud and confident in his own magnificence. Ostara smiled at his posturing. But the jack hare was anything but confident when he gazed upon the sparrow that sat on Eastra’s shoulder. His heart began to flutter. He was so taken aback by this bird, and in no small way, he just knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that somehow, some way, he would make that sparrow his wife. He was desperate to gain the attention of the sparrow that he broke into the most incredible of dances. It was a dance filled with passion and total abandon. His feet carried him swiftly across the ground lifting him high into the air…a whirling display of unspeakable love. The whole time he kept his eyes fixed on the little bird. Ostara laughed at his frenzied display, but then she saw that the little sparrow seemed transfixed by the jack hare. Her head began to bob and swing, her wings would extend slightly as she echoed every move the jack hare made. She became lost to the dance and at one with the jack. Much to the Goddess’s dismay, the little sparrow flew down onto the ground beside the jack hare and she began to sing a different song. A song filled with love, a song filled with such heartfelt truth and honesty that the Goddesses’ own heart began to break. Knowing the mind and heart of her little companion, the Goddess knew what she must do. She would give the bird a gift that only a Goddess could bestow. She knelt down onto the ground and placed a gentle kiss upon the bird’s head. A great cloud of feathers blew around them and as the feathers parted, where the little bird had stood, now there stood a beautiful she-hare - equal to the jack in every way. The following year, when the hares began their dance, Ostara awoke with sadness in her heart. She was alone once again. She began to walk the land, but try as she might, she could not usher in spring as she had done many times before. The muted grays and browns of winter refused to turn green. The land remained cold and frozen. Ostara seemed not to care. Her thoughts were turned inwards cradling the sense of pain and loss in her heart - nothing seemed to hold any joy for her. Suddenly she tripped over a great gathering of hares. She abruptly came to her senses and began to take in the scene that was unfolding around her. As she gazed over the fields it seemed the every hare in the world had come out in celebration. They had formed great circles, one inside the next, inside the next. When they noticed the Goddess, they parted so she may see the greatness from within the center of the circles. All the hares bowed their heads in reverence to the great spring Goddess. There in the middle was the great jack hare and the she-hair and they were beaming with parental pride beside the nest of feathers and sticks. Eastra peered into the nest to see a half dozen hare sized eggs. She gave a quizzical look to her friend, the she-hare, but was met with only a smile. The Goddess looked back to the nest and one egg began to tremble, and rocked backwards and forwards until eventually it began to roll around. With growing anticipation, everyone watched as the egg began to split and the shell fell apart. There inside was a newborn hare perfectly white from the end of its nose to the tip of its tail. Another egg showed signs of movement and then another. The Goddess placed her hands into the soft feathers of the nest and lifted one of the newborn baby hares. She gently lifted the hare and felt the soft fur caress her cheek. She broke into laughter. Her heart melted and she began to lead the hare in a new dance…a dance of liberation and a dance of rebirth. Nature felt her love rekindle and with every step and turn she made the grass turned green and trees began to bud and the flowers emerged from the soil around them. The Goddess smiled and all was good with the animals. Nature was yet again alive with regrowth and new life. And that’s how we ended up with Easter bunnies and eggs. Blessed Be. Welcome to Spring! We celebrated the first day of spring last Sunday. Even though the calendar may say spring, as we Mainahs know all too well...defiantly, Maine weather doesn’t live by what is written on the calendar. As the sun crosses the equator (Earth’s midline), the hours of daylight and nighttime are very nearly equal. The equinoxes are the only times when the sun rises directly due East and sets directly due West for EVERYONE on planet earth. From here on, the days become longer than the nights, and Maine will eventually catch up and the flowers will begin the bloom, trees begin to bud and plants will peak through the earth and make their way toward to warm sun. It’s a time for us to plant all the ideas and actions that we want to bring into the sunlight for the year. The spring equinox acts as a pathway to making all these changes through your action. It’s all about rebirth and regeneration. It’s a beautiful time to connect with what makes you excited and happy, what little things you are ready to bring into your reality…into the light, if you will. This is a time of new beginnings. The fresh energy of the spring equinox involves letting go and appreciating change. Spring represents a new day. A new sun is rising. Life is waking up in the warm sunlight & your spirit feels ready to make a fresh start. I also was reading that last Sunday was also “World Storytelling Day”. It started in 2003 where everywhere on earth people are telling stories, all at the same time, in many different languages. And you know I love to tell stories… So, I was reading this story about four University of Maine students who were having a great time on spring break and they didn’t want it to end. So, they decided to spend an extra week down in Datona. So, they come up with a plan and one of the students calls his professor, and says “we are stuck in Daytona Beach. We won't be able to make it back in time for exams because the tire on our car blew. We need to get it fixed before we head back". The professor says "No problem. Your safety comes first. Do what you need to, and when you get back, the four of you can have an essay exam". So the students thought that was pretty fair and they lived it up for another week. Drinking. Partying. Having a grand ol time. When they get back to school a week later, the professor welcomes them, sits them each in different rooms, and hands them the exam upside down. When they turn the page over to start writing, they find their exams have only one question: "which tire?” Hee! Hee! Before I wrap this talk up, I have a couple more spring jokes for ya… I want to let you all know that finally my winter fat is gone…now I have “spring rolls”. I hit a pothole on my way to church this morning and the check engine light went off. And my all time favorite spring joke, I saw a few years ago on a sign in front of Sprague’s Nursery in Bangor. Second Saturday Social Time, April 9th, 4-5:30 pm; Michele has asked Sarah to keep track of the sign up sheet for the April 9th Family Swim Party at the Lura Hoyt Pool at 146 Western Ave in Hampden. It will be held from 4 - 5:30. They ask folks to wear a mask until you enter the pool. There is a 50 person limit, so sign up quickly with Sarah by calling 207-217-2697. Please give her the names of all your family members that wish to attend. This will be a great time. Deadline to sign up is by end of day on Thursday, April 7th. They have a water slide and a section for very small kids to splash around. There is a suggested donation of $5, but if you can’t spare the money, please just come and swim with us. We’ll have a BLAST! First and third Mondays of the month, April 4th & 18th, Intuitive Art Class with Sarah Lane: Join together in an opening meditation to get the creativity flowing and then create a piece of intuitive art (usually involving painting but can vary) to take home! $20, includes all materials. Children welcome with an adult attendee. Third Thursday Healing Circle, April 21st, from 6-8 pm with Rev. Alex Gilgan: Join us for our monthly Healing Circle on the third Thursday of each month. We are all One with Source and we all have the potential to be Healers. Sit in a circle with others to raise the vibration and bring Source's LOVE through for healing yourself and others. Doors close at 6:15 pm sharp. No one will be admitted after that. All levels of experience are welcome. $20. Last Wednesday Children's Get-Together, April 27th, 12-2:30 pm: This is an opportunity for home-school children, non-school-age children, and their parents, to have an opportunity to socialize and have some fun! It is open to all ages. We'll be doing some arts and crafts, playing with musical instruments learning to express ourselves by moving our bodies, and making some snacks! Donations are welcome, but not required; a $5/per child donation would help us continue to host events like this, but please don't feel like you cannot come if you cannot donate. We want everyone to come and enjoy the fun! We are also looking for some parents to volunteer as chaperones -- just helping watch over the kids during activities. Last Wednesday Book Discussion Group, April 27th, 3-5 pm: The book discussion group will meet on the last Wednesday of every month from 3 pm to 5 pm. We will beam people in via Google Meet Up if you would like to participate and cannot be present physically. Greetings Everyone, In the February newsletter, I spoke about love being a vibration, a frequency. Indeed everything is vibration. What we see around us is simply a manifestation of vibration/frequency. And everything physical and non-physical like the words we speak, our thoughts, even our name carries its own vibration/frequency. When you hear it said that our thoughts and words have power, be assured it's true. I'd like to use "names" as an example of the power of words. The Aboriginal peoples of Australia believe naming a child at birth and expecting it to carry the same name throughout its lifetime makes no sense. At best it was silly to think that a child could carry the same name, or vibration, through an entire lifetime knowing the child was constantly changing, and therefore their vibration was also changing. At worst it would be a very heavy burden for the parents to saddle a child with one name for their entire life. In essence, it would be like putting a set of clothes on a newborn and expecting them never to grow out of them. They believe that as we change through growth and maturity our name needs to change as well in order for us to be in alignment with who we have become, or are becoming. At some point in time, the child is expected to choose his or her own name and that name will also change through all stages of life. The Aboriginal people believe only the individual knows when it is time to change their name. And it isn't necessarily entering puberty or adulthood or menopause that triggers them to change their name. What triggers them to change their name are the things they have learned and experienced as they grow. Jesus understood the vibration/frequency that names carry. When asked, "Master, how should we pray?" Jesus said, "Pray with, [or as is often translated], in my name." In Aramaic, the word "Name" means light or vibration or frequency." So Jesus was not necessarily saying to use his name, Jesus, in your prayers but rather he was saying that when praying step into his vibration or frequency, that frequency being the vibration of a master. Knowing this brings us a whole new understanding of how to pray. In these very challenging and ever-changing times, let's remember the power of vibration. Remember the power your thoughts and words have to heal or to harm. Pray for our planet and ask that peace descends upon earth and upon all people. Pray with the vibration of a master and it shall be so. I am reminded of part of a prayer I learned in church growing up, "Let the words of my mouth and meditations of my heart be acceptable unto thee, oh God. Greetings Everyone! February is the month dedicated to love. I believe love is a frequency, a vibration and with that in mind, I would like to share a story with you. Everyone knows I love feeding the birds. There's something about watching the birds that is both relaxing and completely satisfying to me. I arrived in Tennessee the first week in November. I was busy finishing the job of unpacking boxes so I did not take the time to put my bird feeders out until sometime in mid-December. After hanging the feeders I patiently waited. A few days, a week, then 10 days go by and not a single bird came to my feeders. I did not see so much as a feather floating in the air. One night as the sun was setting and I was looking out at my feeders I put out a request to the nature spirits. I asked them to please guide the birds to my feeders. I asked this with all sincerity, love, and desire in my heart. When I got up the next morning the feeders were swarming with birds! My jaw dropped to the ground. I was in a state of awe and gratitude. As of this writing, I am still in a state of awe and gratitude. I had Tufted Titmouse', Gold Finches, Purple Finches, Wren's, Chickadees, White Breasted Nuthatches, Junko's, White-Throated Song Sparrow's, Downy, Pileated, and Red-Bellied woodpeckers, and I had Cardinals. Lots and lots of Cardinals. At least 20 that I could count. In the coming weeks, Bluebirds, Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers, Doves, Towhee's, and a Red-Headed Woodpecker joined the mix. I hope he finds a mate to join him at the feeding table. Make no mistake, the nature spirits responded to the emotion I was feeling when I made my request. That emotion was a pure vibration of love and came from my heart. Each day as I thank the nature spirits I feel incredible love for the "Powers that be". I am grateful to my teachers through the years who brought me to the realization that consciousness is in everything and consciousness responds in kind. Ask for something from a space of pure love, respect, and sincerity and it will be given to you with pure love, respect, and sincerity. Gallery Readings: Rev. Alex will have Mediums lined up for these events to take place on the first Friday of the month from 6-8 p.m. The next one will be on February 4th. The cost is $10.00. Valentines Day Dance! Grab your special somebody, in fact, grab the whole family, and head on over to the Healing Light Spiritual Center on Saturday, February 12th for a Valentines's Day dance. 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. We want this to be a very special event so dress attire is semi-formal to as formal as you would like to get! There is no charge for this event, however, donations are always welcome. Raffle tickets: Raffle tickets will be drawn at the Valentine's Day dance so there is still plenty of time to buy your tickets! Mediumship Development Group Sunday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Facilitated by Rev. Alex Gilgan, at the Healing Light Spiritual Center, 38 Stage Rd in Etna. Everyone is welcome, beginners through advanced. The group begins with a meditation and allows attendees to experience a variety of methods to open the lines of communication with The Other Side. There is no group meeting on the 3rd Sunday of the month, Cost is by donation, so feel free to join us, even if your pockets may be a little empty one Sunday afternoon, we'd love to have you join us. Rent is $35.00 a month for car/truck/small boat rental, and $20.00 a month for motorcycles, sleds, and ATVs. Large boats taking up more than one space is $35.00 per space. We offer seasonal and year-round rental. Please call, or text, 207-269-2142 to make arrangements. All rentals are on a first-come-first-served basis. Ordination Program Rev. Dr. Janet Decker offers an Independent Spiritualist Minister Ordination Program. If you have considered being ordained perhaps this is a good time to begin. Please keep in mind we are continuing to make an effort to keep everyone who comes to church and church center events safe. If you are feeling sick, have a fever, have any changes in breathing, any changes in smell or taste, or a runny nose then please do not come to church. Masks are available for anyone who wants one. There is hand sanitizer on the counter as you enter the building and on the Healing Book table as well as other places throughout the building, we ask that you please use it. A Ride Tree For folks who want to come to church, but are finding the high cost of gasoline a deterrent from getting here. The Ride Tree program is based on what towns folks live in. Please contact Michele at manyfaunas@gmail.com if you are willing to pick people up and drop them home after the service. Let Michele know what town you live in and what areas you are willing to pick and drop off others. Since it was such a great hit, our pet drive will be ongoing. Thank you all for your generosity. We will be giving to a different non-profit animal agency in the area throughout the year. The back row of chairs is designated as Healing chairs for those folks who have difficulty getting up and down or walking up front to sit in a Healing chair.
